Available PhD-positions at RenewHydro

Several PhD positions in hydropower are available at the research center RenewHydro. We aim to modernize hydropower and find innovative solutions for environmental impact, electric power, climate effects, infrastructure, and economics. 

Here are available positions on climate change, flood mitigation, and the environmental effects of flexible hydropower production: 

• PhD Candidate in Climate change and the flood dampening effect of reservoirs, NTNU 
• PhD Candidate in Advances in Hydropower Inflow Forecasting, NTNU 
• PhD Candidate in Mitigation of Environmental Effects of Flexible Operation of Hydropower, NTNU 

There is also an available position in fault detection in hydropower generators. 

• Postdoctoral Fellow in Electrical Power Engineering – Fault detection in hydropower generators, NTNU. 

Available position for research on predictive maintenance in hydropower planning at the University of South-Eastern Norway.
